Dream Log 3/14/2012
I had a very peculiar dream today. I went to meet my good friend Zack Wong at a little shop in San Francisco. I remember it was on the corner of Powell and Market, but it wasn’t actually a small shop but a small church that also sold yu-gi-oh and magic cards. I thought this was interesting to me because I used to go to church with Zack all the time and if one knew Zack, they would know that he’s no stranger to trading cards.
When I entered, there wasn’t anyone inside except a grumpy old man who was running the place and Zack. The details are slipping at the moment but somehow I upset the old man and I had to leave, and I think I told him he was crazy. Well he proved me right and he pulled out a revolver and threatened to shoot me. I started running and I hid inside a cell phone shop which wasn’t real but a setting from yet another dream I had. The old man followed me and I had to duck behind some people and exit through the other door.
At this point I had put enough distance away from him so I though I would call the cops. I think I told her I was on leavenworth, which is inaccurate because I definitely went the other way. The cop that picked up sounded female, and she got to where I was pretty quick. She was driving a Tan Ciera, no doubt because I was watching “Fargo” last night. Haha
I remember I thought she was attractive. She had long blonde hair, grey eyes, and lots of piercings on her face and tattoos on her arms. She was very strange looking, but attractive nonetheless. The old man had gotten to where I was, and for some reason Zack was with him as well. I kinda regret this. Even though it was just a dream I had ditched Zack for my own safety, but he seemed unharmed and aloof as always.
The guy was apprehended, and it seemed like another female cop was injured in the process but she later turned out to be ok. I gave the strange looking a cop a hug. Oh yea the mayor was there too, but instead of Ed Lee, it was some sweaty, bald guy in a suit. After they cuffed a guy, I gave the cop that picked up my call a hug and went on my way.
After that Zack and I went to a different church with the Chans and my parents. My sister was curiously absent. This church was interesting as well as it had many chinese goers and there was a projection set up with english and chinese translations. No sooner than we arrived, we were told to stand up as the minister read a few passages from the bible. Then, rather suddenly, many people with trombones cam pu and put on a great display for us. It was like this sweeping Jazz melody which kinda sounded like something I heard in “Hannah and her Sisters”. It was a small room and even though I remember sitting in the middle rows, when the trombone players came out we were sitting on the front row. Unfortunately, we were in the “splash zone”, if you catch my drift.
On our way home, my dad, zack, all the children and I got in his sky blue suv of his. Zack and I recounted are versions of the attack of the crazy man, and for some reason my dad was driving though the levi in Foster City. Except the levi was very large and it almost looked like a desert.
And then I woke up.
And then I found 5 dollars.

Who was the main character in this movie anyways?
Lately, it seems like people take things i do for granted. Feeling a little under appreciated, but oh well. Life goes on.
